CGE delegation visits Chinese Aihua Bilingual and LDI International School campus in Yantai, China. Dr. Andy Westmoreland (Samford), Dr Brandon Bannon (Louisiana) and Professors Danny and Jan Hinson (Carson Newman) meet with Headmasters and teachers from the two schools. Cooperation will involve teacher training, curriculum coordination, AmeriStudy student recruiting, pre-nursing and ESL summer programs.
Dr. Pat Taylor, President of Southwest Baptist University (SBU), speaks to over 70 Juniors and Seniors at Beirut Baptist School in Lebanon. AmeriStudy, CGE’s international student recruiting program directed by David Bishop, provided this opportunity for SBU and Samford University to meet prospective students. AmeriStudy also provided an overview of all 14 AmeriStudy university participants.
CGE and members Southwest Baptist University and Samford University visit President Paul Haidostian at Haigazian University in Beirut, Lebanon. Discussions include CGE Faculty led student study opportunities, collaborative research, joint conferences, and faculty sabbatical opportunities. Dr. Pat Taylor (SBU) and Dr. David Finn (SU) shared about their programs.
CGE and AmeriStudy visited high school students at No. 2 Middle School in Yantai, China. Recognized as one of the top high schools throughout their 175 year history, they currently prepare an international track of students for study overseas. CGE looks forward to welcoming their qualified students to our campuses.
